I'm alive!

I can talk! I can even stay awake for several hours at a time, AND kick ass at my job, even with being sick. I Rock. Seriously. Work was good, they had me come in for shorter shifts the past few days and then I'll start my regular shifts next week. I also had another interview on Friday, which went really well, but we'll see. I should find out on Monday.

Also got a speeding ticket on the way to said interview, stupid tickets...However, the fact that the dmv lady was bitchy about not accepting my lease or anything else I had for proof of residency, I still don't have a Wisconsin drivers license, and thus, did not have any points taken from my license. So, bonus there. Also, my politeness in being issued said ticket, got it reduced, which was also nice. I wonder who these people are who honestly get all pissy with the POLICE when being assigned a MONETARY AMOUNT to pay... Why?! Hello people...

What else... um, and old friend from college found me on myspace, which rocks, cause she's a super cool lady. Always nice to keep in contact with more of those:) My cats and the dog are getting along quite well, which is good, although Katy is extremely jealous. They're pretty good about not clawing the furniture and using their little scratchy tower things instead. I'm thinking when the weather gets nice, I might try and put up a little fency thing along my section of the 'yard' so I can let them out. They've really missed the garden in London and at least here I might be able to cordon something off, we'll see.

Wow, I started this post with so much momentum and it's totally petered out... Ah well, it's news nonetheless. Time for some Degrassi old school before I hit the bed with my book. Night night
